Bharat Dynamics zooms nearly 5 per cent on receiving new orders
Bharat Dynamics Limited has received an order worth Rs 372.98 crore from the Indian Air Force.
The company has received the order for the supply of medium-range surface-to-air missile (MRSAM) rear sections for the Indian Air Force. The time period for executing these orders is almost 2.8 years.
Bharat Dynamics has to deliver these MRSAM missiles rear section to the Indian Air Force (IAF) on or before November 30, 2023. The company does not have to deliver all of them in one go but instead, can do so in slots thereby, lowering the workload of the company.
Bharat Dynamics Ltd (BDL), a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, Government of India, is a manufacturing base for guided missile systems & allied equipment for the Indian Armed Forces.
The stock of Bharat Dynamics Ltd closed 4.93 per cent higher at Rs 368.10 on Monday. Meanwhile, at 9.48 am on Tuesday, it was trading at Rs 379.80, up by 3.49 per cent on BSE.
