Best performing Short Duration Fund in the last one year

An individual has various kinds of goals and objectives which vary from short term to long term. There are various instruments available where an individual can park his funds to fulfil his long-term goals. However, many of them are generally confused about where to invest for short term goals and a majority of them end up making common mistakes by investing in equity.

Investing in equity for short term goals can prove to be very risky as they are very volatile in the shorter term whereas, they are ideal for investing in longer-term. Therefore, one should invest in debt instruments that serve an individual to fulfil his short-term goals.

As per SEBI, there are 16 sub-categories of debt schemes. Out of which low duration fund is the fund that invests in debt and money market instruments such that the Macaulay duration of the portfolio is between 6 months-12 months.
