Best performing mutual funds for October 2020

October 2020 was buoyant for Nifty 50 as it was 3.51 per cent positive. Having said, this positivity can be largely attributed to private banks and IT companies. On the other hand, sectors such as FMCG, pharma, auto, oil & gas, etc. witnessed selling pressure. Nifty 50 tested 12,000 physiological levels for quite some time but failed to break out those levels and at the lower end, they took support at 11,750 levels.

Whereas for debt funds, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) came to the rescue as it is likely to maintain its accommodative stance at least till the end of 2021, which is good for bond markets and especially, the long duration bonds. In this article, we would look at the performance of the funds in the month of October 2020. The best performer has been ranked the highest.
