Aurionpro subsidiary & Mastercard enter into strategic alliance; stock climbs almost 6 per cent

On Wednesday, SC Soft Private Limited (Singapore), a subsidiary of Aurionpro Solutions Limited signed a strategic alliance with Mastercard to provide services in the areas of contactless ticketing for transit operators & system integrators, enabling digital fare media adaptation and implementation globally.  

Aurionpro had acquired SC Soft two years ago and has since then, invested in developing robust solutions and a strong sales team with a network of partners & strategic alliances. The alliance with Mastercard is likely to help in enhancing the company’s capabilities and unlocking newer business opportunities, especially in this era of contactless digital technologies and faster adoption in the post-pandemic world. 

The global automatic fare collection market requirements are estimated to cross US$ 9 billion in revenue by 2023.  

At 2.45 pm on Wednesday, the shares of Aurionpro Solutions Limited were trading at Rs 172.90, up by 5.98 per cent or Rs 9.75 per share, against a 1.64 per cent gain in the benchmark index. The 52-week high of the company is recorded at Rs 195 while its 52-week low is Rs 37.60 on BSE.
