Ashok Leyland receives an order for 1,750 buses
Ashok Leyland received an order for 1,750 buses from Tamil Nadu State Transport Undertakings (TN STU) for 1,750.
The order to the company is an addition to various orders, received previously from several state transport undertakings. Mr. Anuj Kathuria, COO of Ashok Leyland, said that superior technology and constant innovation have helped the company to maintain a leadership position in the Indian bus manufacturing industry. Mr. Sanjay Saraswat, the President, MHCV, Ashok Leyland, added that this order has enhanced the company’s order book for State Transport Undertakings, significantly. Such orders support its principles of production reliability, durability, and robustness of its buses.
Ashok Leyland is a flagship of the Hinduja Group and one of India's largest bus manufacturers.
