Ashish Kacholia's portfolio multibagger stock set to trade ex-dividend tomorrow! Do you own it?

Comparing to the same quarter last year, the net profit for the first quarter of FY24 soared 55.11 per cent to Rs 25.33 crore.

The Indian frontline indices ended the session on a significantly positive note, with the energy, healthcare, and real estate sectors emerging as the Top Gainers. The BSE Sensex gained 0.23 per cent to 65,780 level at the close. The Nifty 50 index advanced 0.24 per cent to a level of 19,574.  

Bharat Bijlee Ltd, a Small-Cap electrical equipment manufacturing company, could be in the headlines as its shares will trade ex-dividend tomorrow, September 06, 2023. The company's board of directors recommended a final dividend of Rs 40 (400 per cent) per equity share with a face value of Rs 10 each.

Renowned investor Ashish Kacholia held approximately a 1.8 per cent stake in the company as of June 2023. The company's robust quarter performance for the quarter ending in June 2023 has impressed investors. Taking into account the quarterly performance, it reported a healthy growth of 59.29 per cent from Rs 277.14 crore registered in Q1FY23, recording total revenue of Rs 441.45 crore in Q1FY24.

It has reported strong operating profit growth of 45.78 per cent. Comparing to the same quarter last year, the net profit for the first quarter of FY24 soared 55.11 per cent, from Rs 16.33 crore to Rs 25.33 crore. The shares have delivered multibagger returns of over 100 per cent in the past year and are currently trading at Rs 4,120, with a 52-week high of Rs 4,387 per share on the BSE.
