Airtel & Nokia join hands for Industry 4.0 applications

Indian global telecommunications company, Bharti Airtel and an innovative global leader in mobile phones, Nokia have join hands to become partners in offering private Long-Term Evolution (LTE)-based industry 4.0 solution to enterprises.

Nokia said in a press release that the two companies aim to address various requirements of enterprises, related to media and services across Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI), Information Technology Enabled Services (ITES) along with cloud, IoT, artificial intelligence, machine learning and so on. Besides, the two companies will also explore the development of 5G use cases for the enterprises.

Ashish Arora, CEO of Airtel Business said that this collaboration with Nokia would enable them to build cutting edge Industry 4.0 business solutions for enterprises. Meanwhile, Naresh Asija, Bharti Airtel Customer Team (CT) head at Nokia added that the telecommunication service providers play a key role in transforming digital India and with this partnership, Nokia along with Airtel, would pave the way for the fourth industrial revolution in India for enterprises.

At 11.37 am on Monday, the stock of Bharti Airtel Ltd is trading at Rs 564.20, down by 0.16 per cent against its previous close of Rs 565.10. Its 52-week high is Rs 568.60 and its 52-week low is Rs 273.43 on BSE.
