Ahluwalia Contracts win order worth Rs 1,254 crore
Ahluwalia Contracts informed the bourses that it has secured an order worth Rs 1,254 crore from the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Jammu (J&K). The order is for the construction of AIIMS Jammu, Vijaypur, Samba district, Phase-l, construction of hospital building, medical college, hostels, residence quarters including all development works (civil and electrical) on Engineering, Procurement, Construction (EPC) mode.
The company’s overall order inflow for the fiscal year 2019- 20 was at Rs 3,239.96 crore. As of September 2019-end, the company’s order book was strong at Rs 6,200 crore, which gives a strong revenue visibility in the coming years.
With respect to this development, the stock of Ahluwalia Contracts surge on the bourses by as much as 4.3 per cent to touch an intraday high of Rs 353 apiece.
Ahluwalia Contracts (India) is engaged in providing construction-related services including the design on turnkey basis and assuring timely completion of projects.
On Monday, the stock of Ahluwalia Contracts settled for the day at Rs 341.65, up by 0.98 per cent against its previous close of Rs 338.35 on BSE.
