Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 375.96 points or 0.52 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 73,298.65signifying a loss of 311.62 points or 0.43 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.52 per cent, power gained 0.55 and auto soared by 0.68 per cent.
Meanwhile, Somany Ceramics Ltd, Sapphire Foods India Ltd and Pricol Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Somany Ceramics Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 14.34 per cent to trade at Rs 710.50 apiece.
Sapphire Foods India Ltd rallied 5.19 per cent to trade at Rs 1430.70 apiece.
Pricol Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.25 per cent to trade at Rs 458.30 apiece.
