Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session on April 22
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 319.89 points or 0.40 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 79,496.95, signifying a gain of 0.11 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 1.12 per cent, power zoomed by 0.64 and auto soared by 0.11 per cent.
Meanwhile, VST Industries Ltd, Alok Industries Ltd, and Senco Gold Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
VST Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 13.69 per cent to trade at Rs 349.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Alok Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 5.40 per cent to trade at Rs 17.36 apiece. Alok Industries Limited reported on April 21, 2025, that there was no deviation or variation in the use of funds raised through a preferential issue. The funds raised on February 28, 2020, amounted to Rs. 499,99,99,999. These funds were raised for purposes including capital expenditure and implementation of a Resolution Plan.
Senco Gold Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 5.00 per cent to trade at Rs 401.40 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
