Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the red on Thursday with the Sensex down 0.39 per cent at 79,801 and the Nifty-50 down 0.34 per cent at 24,247        . About 1,920 shares have advanced, 2,015 shares have declined and 151 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.16 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.01 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Thermax Ltd, Tata Elxsi Ltd and Ajanta Pharma Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers were Mufin Green Finance Ltd, Repro India Ltd and  KIOCL Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices traded mixed with the BSE Commodities Index and BSE Healthcare Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Realty Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Losers.

As of April 24, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.30 lakh crore or USD 5.02 trillion. On the same day, 75 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 25 stocks touched a 52-week low.
