Shares Below Rs 100: Only Buyers Were Seen In These Stocks, Locked in Upper Circuit Today

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index up 2.13 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index up 1.69 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices are trading in the green on Tuesday with the Sensex up 0.22 per cent at 76,500 and the Nifty-50 up 0.39 per cent at 23,176. About 2,869 shares have advanced, 1,097 shares have declined and 107 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.

The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 2.13 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.69 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Central Bank of India, UCO Bank and Bank of Maharashtra. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Surya Roshni Ltd, Olectra Greentech Ltd and Salasar Techno Engineering Ltd

On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Utilities Index and BSE Power Index were the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Focused IT Index were the Top Losers.

As of January 14, 2025, the market capitalisation of BSE-listed companies was approximately Rs 4.24 lakh crore or USD 4.90 trillion. On the same day, 80 stocks hit a 52-week high, while 221 stocks touched a 52-week low.
