V-Mart Retail launches three new stores
V-Mart Retail, on Thursday after the market hours, announced that it has opened three new stores, one in Uttar Pradesh while two in Jharkhand.
With this, the total number of stores now stand at 282 as of June 30, 2021.
Reacting to this, the company’s stock today increased by 1.67 per cent and made an intraday high of Rs 2,860.75 per share. The stock of the company has increased by 58 per cent from its decline in July 2020.
The company reported a net loss of Rs 1.47 crore in Q4FY21. In Q4FY20, it had reported a net loss of Rs 8.44 crore. The company reported net sales of Rs 351.87 crore for Q4FY21, which is an increase of 5.77 per cent as against the net sales of Rs 332.66 crore for Q4FY20.
V-Mart Retail is engaged in the business of value retailing through the chain of stores located in various cities of India.
According to BSE data, the stock traded a price-to-book ratio of 6.72. The stock has a 52-week high and a 52-week low of Rs 3,134.65 and Rs 1,700, respectively.
At 12.29 pm today, the share of the company was trading at Rs 2,848.05 per share on BSE, up by 1.22 per cent.
