Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 261.86 points or 0.34 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 84,843.12, signifying a gain of 70.92 points or 0.08 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.21 per cent, power zoomed by 0.43 and auto soared by 0.47 per cent.

Meanwhile, Garware Hi-Tech Films Ltd, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd and Jindal Worldwide Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.

Garware Hi-Tech Films Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 10.00 per cent to trade at Rs 3,211.55 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd, an S&P BSE company, gained 5.18 per cent to trade at Rs 175.75 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. The company announced its financial results for Q4 FY25 and FY25. In the quarterly result of March 2025, the company reported a revenue of Rs 1,904.15 crore, reflecting a YoY growth of 36.87 per cent compared to Rs 1,391.25 crore in March 2024. The operating profit stood at Rs 1,733.85 crore, marking a 29.82 per cent increase from Rs 1,335.63 crore in the same quarter last year. The profit after tax (PAT) increased by 48.73 per cent to Rs 501.79 crore from Rs 337.38 crore in March 2024.

Jindal Worldwide Ltd, an S&P BSE company, rose 4.69 per cent to trade at Rs 73.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
