At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 123.32 points or 0.16 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 75,673.70, signifying a gain of 62.26 points or 0.08 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.05 per cent, power zoomed by 0.06, and auto slipped by 0.27 per cent.
Meanwhile, NIIT Learning Systems Ltd, TVS Holdings Ltd and Vinati Organics Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
