Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today

These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.

At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 144.10 points or 0.18 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 78,674.63 signifying a gain of 167.22 points or 0.21 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.37 per cent, power zoomed by 0.55 and auto soared by 0.41 per cent.

Meanwhile, Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd, CSB Bank Ltd and Rolex Rings Ltd  emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today. 

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd an S&P BSE company, surged 8.42 per cent to trade at Rs 1,134.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces. 

CSB Bank Ltd rallied 5.72 per cent to trade at Rs 331.60 apiece. The bank has reported strong financial growth for Q3 FY2024, with total deposits rising to Rs 33,406 crore, reflecting a YoY growth of 22.17 per cent. CASA deposits stood at Rs 8,041 crore, growing 6.60 per cent YoY, while term deposits increased by 28.10 per cent to Rs 25,365 crore. Gross advances reached Rs 28,914 crore, marking a YoY growth of 26.45 per cent, driven by a significant 36.28 per cent rise in advances against gold and gold jewelry to Rs 13,018 crore. The figures highlight consistent growth across key financial metrics.

Rolex Rings Ltd an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.55 per cent to trade at Rs 1,939.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
