At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 283.23 points or 0.37 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 77,646.97 signifying a gain of 66.66 points or 0.09 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 1.06 per cent, power zoomed by 1.37 and auto soared by 0.46 per cent.
Meanwhile, Wonderla Holidays Ltd, Go Fashion (India) Ltd and Suzlon Energy Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
