Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 162 points or 0.20 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 79,696 signifying a gain of 199.85 points or 0.25 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 1.11 per cent, power zoomed by 0.41 and auto soared by 0.11 per cent.
Meanwhile, Westlife Foodworld Ltd, Triveni Turbine Ltd and Time Technoplast Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Westlife Foodworld Ltd an S&P BSE company, surged 10.52 per cent to trade at Rs 819 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Triveni Turbine Ltd rallied 7.73 per cent to trade at Rs 671.95 apiece. The company has announced its Quarterly Results for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024.
Time Technoplast Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 6.22 per cent to trade at Rs 428 apiece. The company has announced its quarterly results for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024.
