These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 174.19 points or 0.22 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 79,089.93 signifying a loss of 396.39 points or 0.5 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.03 per cent, power plunged by 0.35 and auto slipped by 0.24 per cent.
Meanwhile, ICICI Securities Ltd, Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd and Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
ICICI Securities Ltd an S&P BSE company, surged 5.43 per cent to trade at Rs 888.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Shipping Corporation Of India Ltd rallied 4.54 per cent to trade at Rs 222.05 apiece. The company has announced its Quarterly Results for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024.
Triveni Engineering & Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.89 per cent to trade at Rs 419.65 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
