Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 70.11 points or 0.09 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 79,271.53 signifying a loss of 270.26 points or 0.34 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 0.53 per cent, power zoomed by 0.02 and auto soared by 0.39 per cent.
Meanwhile, NRB Bearings Ltd, Indian Hotels Company Ltd and Samhi Hotels Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
NRB Bearings Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 7.18 per cent to trade at 297 apiece. The company has announced its Quarterly Results for the second quarter ending September 30, 2024.
Indian Hotels Company Ltd rallied 3.85 per cent to trade at Rs 709.95 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
Samhi Hotels Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 4.25 per cent to trade at Rs 195 apiece. India’s largest hospitality company, reported its consolidated financials for the second quarter ending September 30 th, 2024. The second quarter witnessed a strong revival of demand resulting in overall revenue growth of 28 per cent and 16 per cent growth for the hotel segment, marking the best ever Q2 Consolidated EBITDA margin at 29.9 per cent.
