These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 1153.13 points or 1.44 per cent. By 9.17 am, the index stood at 79,444.58 signifying a loss of 737.62 points or 0.92 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals dropped by 1.83 per cent, power plunged by 1.88 and auto slipped by 1.49 per cent.
Meanwhile, Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd, Shoppers Stop Ltd and AGI Greenpac Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Deepak Fertilisers & Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd an S&P BSE company, surged 5.57 per cent to trade at Rs 1263.25 apiece. The company has approved the reappointment of Mr. Jayesh Hirji Shah as an Independent Director for a second term of 5 (five) consecutive years with effect from 20th December 2024.
Shoppers Stop Ltd rallied 2.49 per cent to trade at Rs 651.30 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
AGI Greenpac Ltd an S&P BSE company, climbed 1.65 per cent to trade at Rs 1,216.35 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
