Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 646.02 points or 0.82 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 79,719.40 signifying a gain of 613.52 points or 0.78 per cent over its previous closing.

On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals jumped by 1.21 per cent, power zoomed by 0.57 and auto soared by 1.02 per cent.
Meanwhile, Power Mech Projects Ltd, Suprajit Engineering Ltd and Sequent Scientific Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Power Mech Projects Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 6.67 per cent to trade at Rs 6039.80 apiece. The Company has received an order worth Rs. 114.30 Crores for extension of time for Operation and Maintenance of 1200 MW (2*600MW) coal based thermal power plant namely Mutiara Thermal Power Plant, owned by Coastal Energen Private Limited located at , Melamaruthur Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Tuticorin District, Tamilnadu for a period of one year with effect from 01.10.2024.
Laurus Labs Ltd rallied 5.33 per cent to trade at Rs 567.45 apiece. The company has announced its first Quarterly Results of Q1FY25 along with Buyback.
