These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 324.18 points or 0.42 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 76,823.75 signifying a loss of 386.15 points or 0.5 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals slipped by 0.6 per cent, power tumbled 0.13 and auto slipped by 0.1 per cent.
Meanwhile, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd, Glenmark Life Sciences Ltd and VST Industries Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd an S&P BSE company, surged 4.66 per cent to trade at Rs 1721.85 apiece. The company has signed the Contract for Construction and Delivery of (04) Multipurpose Vessels of 7500 DWT each with M/s Carsten Rehder Schiffsmakler and Reederei GmbH & Co. The approx. order value is of 54 Million USD.
Glenmark Life Sciences Ltd rallied 4.00 per cent to trade at Rs 862.50 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
VST Industries Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.60 per cent to trade at Rs 4239.00 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
