Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in red with a loss of 72.30 points or 0.10 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index further strengthened at 73197.33 signifying a gain of 92.72 points or 0.13 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, metals rose by 0.46 per cent, power gained 1.05 and auto rose by 0.33 per cent.
Meanwhile, Bharti Airtel Ltd, Siemens Ltd and Orient Cement Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Bharti Airtel Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 8.67 per cent to trade at Rs 990.00 apiece.
Siemens Ltd rallied 7.41 per cent to trade at Rs 7146.95 apiece.
Orient Cement Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 7.18 per cent to trade at Rs 224.80 apiece.
