Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 77.76 points or 0.11 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 73,993.21 signifying a gain of 97.67 points or 0.13 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, oil & gas rose by 0.8 per cent, energy gained 0.55 and consumer durables rose by 0.53 per cent.
Meanwhile, Marico Ltd, Vesuvius India Ltd and Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Marico Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 5.33 per cent to trade at Rs 559.35 apiece. The company has announced its quarterly result for March 2024.
Vesuvius India Ltd rallied 3.53 per cent to trade at Rs 4599.90 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces
Titagarh Rail Systems Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 3.30 per cent to trade at Rs 1068.85 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
