Top three stocks that saw heavy demand from buyers in the pre-opening session today
These three stocks were the top gainers on BSE in the pre-opening session today.
At the pre-opening bell, the frontline index S&P BSE Sensex opened in green with a gain of 59.39 points or 0.08 per cent. By 9.15 am, the index stood at 74,006.32 signifying a loss of 221.3 points or 0.30 per cent over its previous closing.
On the sectoral front, in the pre-opening session, utilities rose by 0.51 per cent, power gained 0.41 and realty up by 0.36 per cent.
Meanwhile, Sapphire Foods India Ltd, AAVAS Financiers Ltd and Jaiprakash Associates Ltd emerged as the Top Gainers of BSE in the pre-opening session today.
Sapphire Foods India Ltd, an S&P BSE company, surged 3.17 per cent to trade at Rs 1538.05 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
AAVAS Financiers Ltd rallied 2.93 per cent to trade at Rs 1498.95 apiece. The company announced key highlights regarding the company’s performance in the quarter and financial year ended on March 31, 2024.
Jaiprakash Associates Ltd, an S&P BSE company, climbed 2.83 per cent to trade at Rs 21.44 apiece. The company has not made any significant announcements of late. Hence, the rally in the share price could be driven purely by the market forces.
