These ten stocks are trading close to their 52-week low
A 52-week low is the lowest price at which a stock has traded during the last one year period.
On January 17, domestic equity bourses concluded the trading day in the red, with the Nifty closing slightly below the 23,200 mark. The Sensex dropped by 423.49 points, a decline of 0.55 per cent, finishing at 76,619.33, while the Nifty fell by 108.60 points, or 0.47 per cent, to end at 23,203.20. The market saw a broad participation with 1,975 stocks advancing, 1,797 declining, and 116 remaining unchanged.
Top Losers on the Nifty50 index included companies like Infosys, Axis Bank, Shriram Finance, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and Wipro. On the positive side, BPCL, Reliance Industries, Hindalco Industries, and Nestle India were among the Top Gainers.
The BSE Midcap and Smallcap indices managed to close unchanged, showing a mixed bag within broader market segments. Sector-wise, the IT and Banking indices both experienced a significant dip, losing around 2 per cent each. On the other hand, sectors like Oil & Gas, Power, FMCG, PSU, Capital Goods, Realty, and Metal saw gains, increasing by approximately 1 per cent.
