Nifty 50 opened strongly at 18,871.95 – a new all-time high compared to yesterday's close of 18,758.35. This occurred in the context of strong global stimuli. Leading Wall Street indices rose on Wednesday as Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell said that rate hikes would slow as soon as next month.

Nifty 50 was trading higher at 18,874.8 at 09:24 a.m., up 116.45 points or 0.62 per cent. When compared to Large-Cap indices, broader markets performed mixed. Nifty Mid-Cap 100 Index gained 0.2 per cent, and the Nifty Small-Cap 100 index was trading up by 0.6%.

According to November 30 statistics, FIIs were net purchasers, while DIIs were net sellers. Foreign Institutional Investors (FII) invested Rs 9,010.41 crore in shares. DIIs (domestic institutional investors) sold shares worth Rs 4,056.4 crore.
