AMFI released its monthly report recently for the month of October 2022 and here are some key insights from the report- 

1. The equity mutual fund inflows saw a drop on MoM basis to Rs 9,390.35 crore in October as compared to Rs 14,099.73 crore in September. 
2. All equity mutual fund categories saw net inflow except the dividend yield funds that saw net outflows. 
3. SIP contribution touched a new milestone as it surpassed the 13,000-crore mark for the first time ever, as flows in the month of October stood at Rs 13,041 crore. 
4. MF folios crossed an all-time high and retail MF folios too stood at an all-time high. 

Now, let’s look at the Small-Cap stocks that attracted fund managers in the month of October 2022 (Note: We have considered stocks which have seen buying of over 50 crores.)

Interestingly, Electronics Mart India which made its debut on the stock exchange on October 17, 2022, was amongst the top Small-cap stocks which saw buying of over Rs 220 crore from the fund managers in the month of October 2022.
