These 3 BSE Small-cap Stocks Outperformed the Benchmark Index Today!

These stocks from S&P BSE 250 SmallCap space were trading in the green after strong demand from buyers.

The benchmark index S&P BSE 250 SmallCap Index opened at 4,573.68, and made its day high at 4,608.06 and it is trading in green, up by 0.50 per cent.
 

From the same space, these are the top 3 companies that outperformed the benchmark index and were up by more than 7 per cent today.


Shares of KEI Industries Limited were trading up by more than 8.50 per cent on BSE today. The scrip closed on Tuesday at Rs 2,440.85 and opened on Wednesday at Rs 2,410.05 a piece. Shares touched their 52-week high today at Rs 2,812.20 after the surge. The 52-week high of the stock stood at Rs 2,812.20 whereas the 52-week low is Rs 1,178.00. Presently, the promoters are holding around 37.21 per cent stake whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 46.92 per cent and 15.88 per cent, respectively.


Another top player today is TV18 Broadcast Limited. Shares were trading up by more than 9.10 per cent on BSE during the day. The stock opened today at Rs 38.15 a piece and touched its day high today at Rs 43.45. The 52-week high of the company is at Rs 45.20, whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 27.35. Presently, the promoters are holding is 60.40% whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 10.17% and 29.43%, respectively.

One more top gainer today which shot up by 7.60 per cent is SJVN Limited. The stock opened at Rs 46.38 and touched its 52-week high at Rs 50.08. On Tuesday, the shares closed at Rs 45.80 a piece. The stock has a 52-week high of Rs 50.08 whereas the 52-week low stood at Rs 27.90. Currently, the promoters are holding about 86.77 per cent stake in the company, whereas the institutional and non-institutional holdings are 5.72 per cent and 7.50 per cent, respectively.
