Ten stocks trading close to their 52-week low
A 52-week low is the lowest price at which a stock has traded during the last one year period.
Domestic equity bourses Nifty50 and Sensex struggled to hold the early gains made on January 15, with auto and pharma stocks dragging the market. Good buying in IT, energy, and infra stocks offered some support, assisting the indices to stay marginally in the green.
At close on Wednesday, the Sensex was up 224.45 points or 0.29 per cent at the 76,724.08 mark, and the Nifty was up 37.15 points or 0.16 per cent at 23,213.20.
Sector-wise, Nifty IT, Energy, Realty, and Infra led the surge, gaining around 1.1 per cent.
Top Losers on the Nifty50 index were M&M, Bajaj Finserv, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance and Shriram Finance.
