52-week high refers to the highest market price of a given stock over a one year period.
Domestic equity market ended Friday’s trading session in positive territory. The NSE Nifty 50 gained 344.50 points or 1.62 per cent at 22,338.75, while the BSE Sensex jumped by 1,245.05 points or 1.72 per cent to 73,745.35. Bank Nifty gained 1,166 points or 2.53 per cent to settle at 47,286.90.
Top Nifty50 gainers were Tata Steel, L&T, JSW Steel, Titan Company and IndusInd Bank.
Sectorally, the metal index closed up 4 per cent, while auto, bank, capital goods and oil & gas surged 2 per cent each.
