Shares of the company gained more than 20 per cent in the last six months.

The mission utilized a Mark-3 (LVM-3) rocket, resulting in a perfect and successful launch. Only the U.S., Russia, and China had previously achieved soft landings on the moon, making this accomplishment remarkable. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Minister of State Jitendra Singh praised ISRO for its achievement in the mission.

The shares of the company saw a spurt in volume by more than 1.70 times on BSE.

Shares of the company have gained about 15 per cent in the last two trading sessions. 

On Monday, the stock opened at level of Rs 73.40 and it went on to touch a low of Rs 72.40. However, the stock recovered smartly from the low of the day and ended the day with gain of nearly 3 per cent along with strong volumes.
