Presently, the Adani Group stocks collectively hold a market capitalisation close to ₹15 lakh crore, a significant climb from he ₹10 lakh crore mark observed in the final week of November.

At 1.30 pm on Friday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading flat due to mixed global cues as the US markets await jobs data for the month of August on Friday.    

The Asia-Pacific markets are also showing mixed reactions as Japan’s Nikkei 225 index is trading lower by 0.04 per cent and China’s Shanghai Composite is trading higher by 0.05 per cent.    

At the time of Tuesday’s closing bell, the markets rallied heavily, reversing all the losses and gaining the highest on the last trading of the month. 

At 4 pm, Sensex settled at 59,537.07 level, gaining a whopping 1,564.45 points or 2.70 per cent while Nifty 50 closed at 17,759.30, up by 446.40 points or 2.58 per cent.  

On Wednesday, Sensex ended at 59,085.43, up by 0.09 per cent while Nifty 50 ended higher by 0.16 per cent at the 17,604.95 level.   

Media, telecom, realty, and private bank stocks were seen gaining whereas IT, pharma & auto stocks were moot on the bourses today.  

In the afternoon session on Wednesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading higher as the global markets continued their gaining rally.
