BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 420 lakh crore or USD 5.05 trillion as of May 24, 2024.

About 2,184 shares have advanced, 1,283 declined and 183 are unchanged on BSE.  

The stock once used to trade in triple digits in the year 2015, however, the stock traded in single digits in the year 2020. It has slowly but steadily picked up the pace and with the current chart structure, it looks set for a turnaround and hence demands to be on the watchlist!

The core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were seen recovering their previous levels. The Sensex was at 58,188 up by 988 points or 1.67 per cent, while Nifty was at 17,380.50 up by 278.55 points or 1.63 per cent from the last trading session.   

At 12.30 pm on Thursday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were seen extending losses and were trading at a discount of more than 2 per cent. The Sensex was at 56,554.22 down by 1303.93 points or 2.25 per cent, while Nifty was at 16,934.90 down by 343.05 points or 1.99 per cent from the last trading session. 

At noon on Thursday, the core equity indices i.e., Sensex and Nifty 50 were seen trading at 59,522.72 and 17,786.05 levels, respectively. Sensex was down by 576.10 points or 0.96 per cent, while Nifty was down by 124.70 points or 0.85 per cent from the last trading session.
