The company gave great returns of 36 per cent over the past 1 year and stellar returns of 235 per cent over the past 3 years. Moreover, it has a healthy dividend payout ratio of 40.1 per cent.   

BSE Smallcap index relatively underperformed broader markets by climbing only 0.21 per cent to end at 26,773.41

On Monday, the Indian equity markets kept an eye on the quarterly results. The weak start of IT earnings lowered the sentiments which made benchmark indices start the session on  a negative note. 

BSE Smallcap index also closed in the green territory at 25,640.81, up by 0.28 per cent.

The equity benchmark indices closed higher in a volatile session on Monday. The hopeful trends in the global markets motivated the domestic market to trade higher, in which, the large-cap stocks rose the most while the mid-cap and small-cap stocks in broader markets continued to trade under pressure.  

The markets crashed with full force at the beginning of the week while the key equity indices fell below their crucial levels, experiencing heavy selling pressure. The global markets corrected due to worries over upcoming policy rate hikes and cuts to the central bank’s balance sheet.  

The benchmark indices closed Thursday's trading session on a positive note with Sensex gaining 436.94 points or 0.79 per cent at 55818.11 level, and the Nifty adding 105.20 points or 0.64 per cent at 16628 level. Reliance zoomed 3 per cent to settle at one-month high, thus contributing 68 points to the Nifty gains. Market gains were kept in check with HDFC, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank qualifying as the main losers.

Due to the global sell-off, the Indian equity markets traded under pressure with Sensex rattling 1,416.30 points or 2.61 per cent ending at 52,792.23 level while Nifty declining 430.90 points or 2.65 per cent at 15,809.40 level.  

During the month of April, Nifty IT index, on average, has delivered returns of about 1.1 per cent and interestingly, three out of the last four years’ performance for the index in the month of April has been mindblowing!

BSE Smallcap index outperformed broader markets gaining 1.37 per cent and closing at 29,582.49. 

On Thursday, the domestic benchmark indices ended higher for a third straight day as the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was on the verge to win four of the five key state elections. A rally was seen across the markets with FMCG, public sector banks, and realty sectors shining on the front.
