On Thursday, Indian equity markets extended on yesterday's losses. Nifty 50 and Sensex slipped 0.18 per cent each to close the session at 15,938.6 and 53,416.1 respectively.
BSE Smallcap index also ended in the red territory at 25,645.68, down by 0.56 per cent. Top Gainers of the index include Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances, PC Jeweller, Neuland Laboratories, Indo National, SMS Pharmaceuticals, Stove Kraft and Kaya. Top Losers comprise Techno Electric & Engineering, Birlasoft, Dhanvarsha Finvest, Xchnaging Solutions and HBL Power Systems.

Welspun Corp - East Pipes Integrated Company for Industry (EPIC) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), an associate company of Welspun Corp has been awarded a contract by SWCC for the manufacture and supply of steel pipes. The contract is valued at SAR 324 million (approximately) including value added tax and the same will be executed in this financial year.
Jubilant Pharmova - The company's subsidiary Jubilant Pharma Holdings Inc (JPHI) has entered into an agreement with Standard Chartered Bank for a five-year loan facility for repayment of existing term loans and bonds aggregating USD 350 million and an additional tranche of USD 50 million for future growth capex.
Kanani Industries - The company has received additional export orders worth Rs 13 crore from its international clients for the supply of diamond studded jewellery.
