On Tuesday, Indian equity markets soared high like an eagle. Nifty 50 and Sensex closed the session at 15,629.40 and 52,490.89 with hefty gains of ~1.80 per cent each.
BSE Smallcap index outperformed broader markets, surging 3.08 per cent to close at 24,143.22. Top Gainers of the index include Thirumalai Chemicals, Jain Irrigation Systems, Nava Bharat Ventures, Syncom Formulations (India), Khaitan Chemicals, Goa Carbon, STC India, GSFC, EID Parry, Subex, Ramco Systems and Suven Life Sciences. Top Losers comprise Sadbhav Engineering, Brightcom Group, KBC Global and Shoppers Stop.
The following small-cap stocks are likely to be in focus on Wednesday, June 22, 2022:
BCPL Railway Infrastructure – The company has secured two new orders. One of them includes a 25KV OHE under the BSP Division of South East Central Railway (Rs 39.25 crore) and another one is of TSS (Traction Sub-station) under the Delhi Division of Northern Railway (Rs 1.36 crore).
Marksans Pharma – The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Time-Cap Laboratories Inc has recalled Kroger Brand Aspirin (300 count bottles) and Ibuprofen (160 count bottles) due to label packaging issues to meet child-resistant packaging requirements. A total of 12 lots, containing 209,430 units, have been recalled.
Sundaram Multi Pap – The company has successfully changed its banking partner. Under the new banking facilities, the company will witness an increase in cash flows due to lower debt repayment and lower interest costs. Recently, the company has also launched a set of premium quality products on leading marketplaces as well as on its own online store.
