On August 30, the benchmark equity indices recovered the previous day's losses and extended their gains. S&P BSE Sensex jumped 1,544.46 points or 2.66 per cent to 59,517.08 level. Nifty 50 index rocketed 446 points or 2.58 per cent to 17,759.30. On BSE, realty, auto, and bank stocks advanced the most.

Granules India: Granules India Limited announced today that US Food & Drug Administration (US FDA) has approved its abbreviated new drug application (ANDA) for Loperamide Hydrochloride and Simethicone tablets, 2 mg/125 mg (OTC). The shares of Granules India gained more than 1 per cent to end at Rs 306 per share.
Ramkrishna Forgings: Ramkrishna Forgings Limited, one of the leading suppliers of rolled, forged & machined products announced that it has been awarded a large business of metal bars worth Rs 205 million (USD 2.58 million) per year. It is also one of the top three companies on the construction market for compact heavy equipment track and tyre solutions. This order has the potential to become an annual business of Rs 800 million (USD 10 million). The shares of Ramkrishna Forging rose 2 per cent on August 30.
Rama Steel Tubes: Rama Steel Tubes Ltd (RSTLL), one of the leading manufacturers of steel pipes & tubes, has received orders from Jal Shakti Vibhag (Himachal Pradesh) of around Rs 14.7 crore in addition to the previous orders worth nearly Rs 33.4 crore, aggregating to the tune of Rs 48.1 crore. The shares of Rama Steel Tubes surged more than 15 per cent in five trading sessions.
