On Friday, Indian equity markets closed in the negative territory on a flat note. Nifty 50 and Sensex closed at 16,584.30 and 55,769.23 down by 0.26 per cent and 0.09 per cent, respectively.
BSE Smallcap index significantly underperformed broader markets by recording losses of 1.16 per cent to close at 26,384.14. Top Gainers of the index include Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances, RPSG Ventures, Solar Industries India, Ion Exchange (India), IFB Agro Industries, TCI Express and Kiri Industries. Top Losers comprise Techno Electric & Engineering, Fine Organic Industries, Raymond, Dalmia Bharat, JK Cement and Orient Bell.

VA Tech Wabag – The company has further enhanced its global position in the desalination market by securing a consortium ‘design, build, operate’ (DBO) order, for the 50 MLD (expandable to 100 MLD) Mamelles Sea Water Desalination Project from Société Nationale Des Eaux du Sénégal (SONES), the National Water Company of Senegal worth about 146 million Euro.
Dredging Corporation of India – The company has informed the exchange of a revenue target of Rs 1,000 crore for FY23. The company has also received the award of contracts under Sagarmala Project to deepen Mangrol Fishing Harbour in the state of Gujarat worth Rs 75 crore.
Narayana Hrudayalaya – The company incorporated a wholly-owned subsidiary named Athma Healthtech Private Limited on June 02, 2022, to carry on the business of software and other allied services.
