Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on June 3

At noon on Friday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading on the higher side as the US markets edged higher in the last trading session. The US indices, S&P 500 & tech-heavy Nasdaq were up by 1.84 per cent and 2.69 per cent, respectively, after the stocks gained in anticipation of the jobs data report due on Friday.  

At noon on Friday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading on the higher side as the US markets edged higher in the last trading session.  

The US indices, S&P 500 & tech-heavy Nasdaq were up by 1.84 per cent and 2.69 per cent, respectively, after the stocks gained in anticipation of the jobs data report due on Friday.  

The Asia Pacific markets were also up with Shanghai Composite trading higher by 0.42 per cent and Japan’s Nikkei climbing 1.2 per cent. 

The crude oil price is steady as the OPEC+ countries are trying to produce more oil in order to make up for the deficit caused by the ban on importing Russian oil.    

Sensex was at 56,366.09, up by 547.98 points or 0.98 per cent while Nifty was at 16,756.60, up by 127.60 points or 0.77 per cent from the last trading session.              

On BSE, 1,778 shares have advanced, 1,318 shares declined whereas 144 shares are unchanged.                 

The Top Gainers in Nifty 50 pack are Reliance Industries, Infosys, Wipro, HCL Technologies, Wipro, and Larsen & Toubro. Meanwhile, the Top Losers pulling down the index are Grasim Industries, Shree Cement, UltraTech Cement, NTPC, and Apollo  Hospitals.    

BSE Smallcap index is trading at 26,595.72, up by 0.23 per cent. The top gainers in the pack were Butterfly Gandhimathi Appliances, IFB Agro Industries, RPSG Ventures, Indiabulls Housing Finance, and VLS Finance. Each of these stocks has gained more than 8 per cent. Similarly, the top losers include Raymond, JK Cement, Dalmia Bharat, Fine Organic Industries, and Suzlon Energy.  

On the sectoral front, all the sectors were trading in the green, with IT, energy, and oil & gas sectors leading on the bourses. On the other hand, commodities, utilities, power, and auto sectors were lagging in the morning session.
