Stocks below Rs 100: Only buyers seen in these scrips on July 6
The shares in the Asia Pacific rumbled as the Chinese stocks led to losses due to the increasing rounds of COVID-testing in Shanghai. This has induced fears of further lockdown restrictions in China thereby, creating a ripple effect on the stock markets.
At 11.30 am on Wednesday, the headline equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading marginally higher.
Sensex was at 53,361.72, up by 227.37 points or 0.43 per cent while Nifty 50 was at 15,867.30, up by 56.45 points or 0.36 per cent.
US Stock futures were also trading flat after staging a big mid-day reversal on Tuesday as the falling bond yields provided a boost to growth stocks.

Nikkei 225 in Japan plunged 1.04 per cent and Mainland China markets also dipped wherein Shanghai Composite and Hang Seng index tumbled 1.57 per cent & 1.92 per cent, respectively.
The crude oil price fell 9 per cent in Tuesday’s trade, only to settle at $99.39 per barrel on Wednesday whereas the 10-year US Treasury yield also tumbled; thus, flashing recession fears.
The Top Gainers in the Nifty 50 pack are Bajaj Finance, Britannia Industries, Hero MotoCorp, Eicher Motors, and Hindustan Unilever. The Top Losers pulling down the index are ONGC, Hindalco Industries, NTPC, Tata Steel, and Power Grid Corporation of India.
BSE Smallcap index is trading at 24,675.35, up by 0.45 per cent. The top gainers in the pack were Kiri Industries, Responsive Industries, Himadri Speciality Chemical, Kabra Extrusiontechnik, and Aarti Surfactants. Each of these stocks has gained more than 7 per cent. Similarly, the top losers were Techno Electric Engineering, Chennai Petroleum Corporation, Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar, Mangalore Refinery & Petrochemicals, and PTC India Financial Services.
All the sectors were trading in the green, except for BSE Metal, which was down by 2.37 per cent, BSE Energy plunged 0.87 per cent, and BSE Utilities declined 0.92 per cent.
