Shares of this engineering company touched an all-time and 52-week high on a volatile Friday

The company’s portfolio includes boilers and heaters, absorption chillers/heat pumps, power plants, solar equipment, air pollution control equipment/system, water and waste recycle plant, ion exchange resins and performance chemicals and related services. 

In Q1FY23, revenue grew by 57.22 per cent YoY to Rs 1654.48 crore from Rs 1052.36 crore in Q1FY22. PBIDT (Ex OI) was reported at Rs 96.03 crore, up by 52.33 per cent as compared to the year-ago period which was reported at Rs 63.04. PAT was reported at Rs 59.02 crore, up by 39.20 per cent from Rs 42.40 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal year.  

In a span of one year, Thermax Ltd has outperformed the Sensex by 73.88 per cent and has delivered 18.82 per cent returns in one year. On September 16 at 1:05 pm, the S&P BSE Sensex is at 59,184.50, down by 1.24 per cent, the company stock is up by 4.13 per cent the scrip is trading at Rs 2563.60.
