In light of the upcoming festival season and India's strong macroeconomic position in comparison to other markets around the world, foreign investors seem to be optimistic about the Indian markets. Foreign investors have already contributed almost Rs 5,600 crore to the domestic equity markets this month. The Indian benchmark indices opened higher on Monday, following the upbeat sentiment.
At 12.45 pm, BSE IT and BSE Teck were the leading gainers of the session with gains of about 1.5 per cent each. Basic materials, real estate, and consumer durables sectors experienced advances of over 1 per cent each. Meanwhile, the broader markets outperformed the main indices.

The shares of Aurionpro Solutions saw over a thirteen-fold increase in volume after the company announced that it had acquired 'Hello Patients Solutions Inc,' a startup based in the USA, and also, declared a dividend of Rs 2.50 per share.
The shares of TGV SRAAC Ltd, Satin Creditcare Network, and Kuantum Papers were heavily bought, climbing over 9 per cent each. The top low-priced gainers on BSE include Alphalogic Techsys, Polymac Thermoformers, and Oswal Agro Mills, locking in a 20 per cent upper circuit.
