Shares below Rs 100: These trending shares made a fresh 52-week high on August 4!
The top low-price gainers on BSE that locked in at 20 per cent upper circuits were Subex Ltd, Refnol Resins & Chemicals, and Paramount Communications Limited.
The Indian domestic indices i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 opened higher on Thursday, extending their winning streak and reflecting upbeat global cues. BSE IT and BSE Teck were the top two gaining sectors in the early trades with modest gains in metal & healthcare stocks. As the domestic indices lost their early gains and fell sharply, the telecom, as well as real estate sectors, suffered the most losses.
BSE Midcap index gained 0.29 per cent while BSE Smallcap index advanced 0.25 per cent, defying the benchmark indices. The top low-price gainers on BSE that locked in at 20 per cent upper circuits were Subex Ltd, Refnol Resins & Chemicals, and Paramount Communications Limited. Aggressive buying was seen in the Small-Cap index for HLE Glascoat, Take Solutions, and WPIL Ltd, all of which climbed more than 11 per cent.
Following its partnership with Jio Platforms Ltd (JPL), a well-known Indian technology company and a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, the shares of Subex Ltd, which was the top gainer from the small-cap pack, rallied & locked in the 20 per cent upper circuit for the second consecutive day. The shares of Subex Ltd soared more than 65 per cent in just one month!
