Investor sentiment in the Asian markets was mixed amid heightened geopolitical tensions between the US and China. SGX Nifty gained 43 points, indicating a positive start for the broader index in India. The benchmark indices in India, on the other hand, started trading with small cuts. However, after regaining their respective levels of 58,000 & 17,300 and recovering early losses, Sensex as well as Nifty 50 were able to close the day higher.
Except for BSE IT and BSE Teck, nearly all sectors were trading lower. Subex Ltd, Zodiac JRD MKJ Ltd, and AMD Industries Ltd were the top low-price gainers on BSE, locked in at 20 per cent upper circuits. Being the top gainer from BSE Smallcap pack, the shares of Subex Ltd shot up and locked in the 20 per cent upper circuit. Jio Platforms Ltd (JPL), a prominent Indian technology company and a subsidiary of Reliance Industries announced a partnership with Subex for its AI orchestration platform - HyperSense, which can enable telcos to deliver on the promise of AI across the data value chain.
