Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on September 25

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the green on Wednesday with the Sensex up 0.30 per cent at 85,170 and the Nifty-50 up 0.25 per cent at 26,004. About 1,710 shares have advanced, 2,246 shares have declined and 109 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 84,247.42 on September 25, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,032.80 on September 25, 2024.

The broader markets were in red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.53 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.35 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Tata Communication Ltd, Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd and Bharti Hexacom Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Saregama India Ltd, Optiemus Infracom Ltd and Vakrangee Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Power Index and BSE Utilities Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE FMCG Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.75 lakh crore or USD 5.69 trillion as of September 25, 2024. On the same day, 267 stocks hit a 52-week high while 38 stocks touched a 52-week low.
