Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on September 18

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.71 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.52 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the res on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.16 per cent at 82,948 and the Nifty-50 down 0.16 per cent at 25,378. About 1,531 shares have advanced, 2,434 shares have declined and 105 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 83,326.38 on September 18, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,482.20 on September 18, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.71 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.52 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Torrent Power Ltd Samvardhana Motherson International Ltd and Power Finance Corporation Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Reliance Infrastructure Ltd, Hardwyn India Ltd and Vakrangee Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Bankex Index and BSE Financial Services Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Information Technology Index and BSE Metals Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.67 lakh crore or USD 5.58 trillion as of September 18, 2024. On the same day, 276 stocks hit a 52-week high while 27 stocks touched a 52-week low.
