Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on September 09

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-cap Index down 0.28 per cent and the BSE Small-cap Index down 0.65 per cent.

The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in green on Monday with the Sensex up 0.46 per cent at 81,559.54, and the Nifty-50 up 0.34 per cent at 24,936. About 1,661 shares have advanced, 2,375 shares have declined and 145 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 82,725.28 on September 02, 2024, and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 25,333.65 on September 02, 2024.

The broader markets were in the red territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index down 0.28 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index down 0.65 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were General Insurance Corporation of India, Gujarat Fluorochemicals Ltd and Tata Elexi Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Deep Industries Ltd, Balu Forge Industries Ltd and Manoj Vaibhav Gems & Jewellery Ltd.

On the sectoral front, the indices were trading mixed with the BSE Bankex Index and BSE FMCG Index being the Top Gainers while the BSE Energy Index and BSE OIL & Gas Index were the Top Losers.

BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.61 lakh crore or USD 5.49 trillion as of September 09, 2024. On the same day, 266 stocks hit a 52-week high while 54 stocks touched a 52-week low.
