Shares below Rs 100: Only buyers were seen in these stocks on October 30
The top mid-cap gainers were Maharashtra Bank, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Aditya Birla Capital Ltd.
The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty-50 indices were trading in the red on Wednesday with the Sensex down 0.53 per cent at 79,942 and the Nifty-50 down 0.51 per cent at 24,341. About 2,892 shares have advanced, 1,040 shares have declined and 79 shares were unchanged on BSE. The BSE Sensex Index made a new 52-week high of 85,978.25 on September 27, 2024 and the NSE Nifty-50 Index made a new 52-week high of 26,277.35 on September 27, 2024.
The broader markets were in the green territory, with the BSE Mid-Cap Index up 0.04 per cent and the BSE Small-Cap Index up 1.53 per cent. The top mid-cap gainers were Maharashtra Bank, Rail Vikas Nigam Ltd and Aditya Birla Capital Ltd. In contrast, the top small-cap gainers are Force Motors Ltd, WPIL Ltd and Precision Camshafts Ltd
On the sectoral front, the indices trading mixed with the BSE Services Index and BSE Industrials Index were the only Top Gainers while the BSE Consumer Durables Index and BSE Bankex Index were the Top Losers.
BSE-listed companies' market capitalisation is approximately - Rs 4.36 lakh crore or USD 5.19 trillion as of October 30, 2024. On the same day, 131 stocks hit a 52-week high while 51 stocks touched a 52-week low.
